For one of our clients, we found efficiency gains to the extent of 4% of their total procurement spend.
We discovered those gains by slicing and dicing the procurement data in a smart way, and putting into place anomaly detection algorithms, to detect more complex process deviations and possible fraudulent behavior. We investigated their own internal procurement spend to uncover savings opportunities, process deviations and possible fraud.
