Detecting Fraud using Network Analysis

Tele Ticket Service, part of the Sportpaleis Group, is responsible for the ticketing sales and services. Every year, around 1.5M tickets are sold.

Beginning 2019, Tele Ticket Service realized that they needed external expertise for detecting ticketing fraud more profoundly, and asked Python Predictions to support them by using network analysis.
By setting up a graph database and creating powerful visualizations of these networks, Tele Ticket Service was able to find a lot more potential cases.

In the end, Tele Ticket Service identified dozens of suspicious accounts and blocked more than 8000 tickets.
